Baked Ham and Cheese Croissants

These Baked Ham and Cheese Croissants are buttery, melty, and packed with flavor! Perfect for brunch, lunch, or a quick weeknight dinner — they’re always a crowd-pleaser!

Ingredients

FOR THE SANDWICHES

  • 6 croissants
  • 18 slices of deli ham
  • 6 slices of Swiss cheese

FOR THE BUTTER TOPPING

  • 5 Tablespoons salted butter melted
  • 1 Tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 ½ teaspoons poppy seeds
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

ASSEMBLE THE SANDWICHES

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F, and spray a 9 by 13 inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
  • Slice each croissant in half with a serrated kitchen knife.
  • Place the bottom of each croissant in the baking dish in two rows of three.
  • Place 2 slices of deli ham on each croissant.
  • Add 1 slice of Swiss cheese on top of each croissant.
  • Add 1 slice of ham on top of each slice of cheese, then add the top of each croissant.

MAKE THE BUTTER TOPPING

  • Add the butter, dijon mustard, poppy seeds, Worcestershire sauce, and onion powder to a small mixing bowl and whisk until combined.

ADD THE TOPPING

  • Brush the butter mixture over each croissant and let it sit for 5 minutes.

BAKE AND ENJOY:

  • Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake for 18 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for another 5-6 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and serve and Enjoy!

Notes

Store: Keep leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Reheat: Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes or until warmed through, or microwave for 30-45 seconds.
Make Ahead: Assemble the sandwiches (and even pour the topping!) the night before, then bake fresh when ready to serve.
