FOR THE SANDWICHES
- 6 croissants
- 18 slices of deli ham
- 6 slices of Swiss cheese
FOR THE BUTTER TOPPING
- 5 Tablespoons salted butter melted
- 1 Tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 ½ teaspoons poppy seeds
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
ASSEMBLE THE SANDWICHES
Preheat the oven to 350°F, and spray a 9 by 13 inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
Slice each croissant in half with a serrated kitchen knife.
Place the bottom of each croissant in the baking dish in two rows of three.
Place 2 slices of deli ham on each croissant.
Add 1 slice of Swiss cheese on top of each croissant.
Add 1 slice of ham on top of each slice of cheese, then add the top of each croissant.
MAKE THE BUTTER TOPPING
Add the butter, dijon mustard, poppy seeds, Worcestershire sauce, and onion powder to a small mixing bowl and whisk until combined.
BAKE AND ENJOY:
Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake for 18 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for another 5-6 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and serve and Enjoy!
Store: Keep leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Reheat: Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes or until warmed through, or microwave for 30-45 seconds.
Make Ahead: Assemble the sandwiches (and even pour the topping!) the night before, then bake fresh when ready to serve.
