Creamy, fizzy, and fun, this Swig Copycat Spring Fling is all about love. If you love a dirty Dr. Pepper, you will love this drink. It is made with strawberry puree, vanilla syrup, coconut cream, and of course, pebble ice.

If you love dirty Dr. Pepper, you will love this drink! It’s an easy way to upgrade your soda with an iconic soda-shop vibe without leaving the house. The whipped cream and sprinkles make it extra sweet for Valentine’s Day or as a sweet treat any time of year. It’s a family-friendly drink that everyone loves.
Ingredients and Notes:
- Pebble ice chills the soda quickly and gives that classic drive-through drink texture. Crushed ice works in a pinch, though the drink will melt faster.
- Dr. Pepper is the base of this Valentine’s Day dirty soda. You can use Diet Dr. Pepper or Mr Pibb.
- Strawberry puree adds fruit flavor and a soft pink hue that’s perfect for Valentine’s Day. We use store-bought puree. You can make your own by blending fresh or frozen strawberries until smooth. Strawberry syrup can be used for more sweetness.
- Vanilla syrup smooths out the soda’s flavors. We used Torani vanilla syrup, but you can use sugar-free vanilla syrup, or almond or French vanilla syrups for slightly different flavors.
- Coconut cream adds thickness and rich flavor. Look for it in the mixer section or use the thick cream from the top of a can of coconut milk. You can use half-and-half instead of coconut cream.
- Whipped cream and sprinkles (optional) turn this into a special treat. Skip them for a lighter drink.

How To Make A Valentine’s Dirty Dr. Pepper:
Pebble ice fills the glasses, Dr Pepper goes in first, then strawberry puree, vanilla syrup, and coconut cream are stirred in gently. Finish with whipped cream and sprinkles and serve right away.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Divide the pebble ice evenly between two tall glasses, filling each nearly to the top.
- Pour half of the Dr Pepper into each glass, allowing the foam to settle slightly.
- Add two tablespoons of strawberry puree to each glass and stir.

- Add 2 tablespoons of vanilla syrup to each glass, then stir again to combine.
- Spoon one tablespoon of coconut cream into each glass, stirring gently until fully blended.
- Top with whipped cream and sprinkles. Serve immediately while cold and fizzy.

Top Recipe Tips
- Use Cold Ingredients. Start with chilled soda and strawberry puree. This keeps the ice from melting too fast and watering down the drink.
- Stir gently. You want to mix the coconut cream and syrups without flattening the carbonation. A slow stir is best to keep the fizz.
- Adjust the Sweetness. The vanilla syrup and strawberry puree add significant sugar. You can reduce the amount of vanilla if you prefer a less sweet drink.
